We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Professor Sudhir Vinayak on Saturday 16th November 2024.
The global ultrasound community has lost a highly intelligent, constructive colleague who was a powerful voice of African ultrasound and we have lost a key member of our WFUMB Family.
We express our heartfelt condolences to Sudhir's family and loved ones at this difficult time.
It is an honor for Japan Society of Ultrasonics in Medicine (JSUM) to host the 20th WFUMB congress in Japan in 2025.
The theme of this conference is “Ultrasound toward Sustainable healthcare system”. This will be the first time in 31 years that the congress has been held in Japan since the 7th congress was held in Sapporo in 1994. We hope to see you in May 2025 in Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan.
